Holistic Specialists in Jakarta

Pooja Thawani
Ayurvedic Health Counselor, Yoga & Qigong teacher, Eating Disorder Recovery Guide
Email: pooja.thawani@hotmail.com – Whatsapp: +628176334413
IG: https://www.instagram.com/poojathawani/

Pooja came to Yoga & Ayurveda, and then Qigong, through her own journey of over-coming a 15 year long eating disorder. Through these ancient wisdom traditions, she discovered that physical health & vitality (and mental clarity!) stems from bringing the digestive fire (or what’s called Agni in Ayurveda) back to balance, aligning ourselves closer to the rhythms of nature, slowing down and connecting back to that inherent wisdom that exists within each and every one of us.

Pooja is passionate about bringing together these ancient wisdoms in a way that is fun, simple and accessible in our modern times. She currently focuses her work around helping people find ease & freedom in their bodies, and in improving their relationship with food, through practices that strengthen the mind & regulate the nervous system.

Mental health professionals available via Zoom/On line

Many clinics and providers offer a 20 minute free consultation. This gives you a brief idea of how they work and if they are a good fit for you. The following are not personal recommendations; it is important to do your own research.
Also bear in mind many insurance providers have their own requirements in order to cover treatment. With BUPA this includes needing the provider to be a psychiatrist/psychologist/psychotherapist (they do not cover counselors). As well as a “fair and reasonable rate”.

Justine Brooks.
Justine is a UK based, BACP registered psychotherapist working with a range of loss, bereavement and trauma related issues including loss through moving countries or divorce and boarding school syndrome. www.justinebrooks.co.uk
